It is a hybrid device combining a refractometer and a salt meter . It uses an optical prism to measure Brix concentration and a titanium electrode to determine salt content . This helps check the balance between Brix concentration and salt, a key factor influencing the taste of food.
Additionally, we have removed the need for sample dilution , which is typically required for salt measurement, especially in the case of concentrated products such as sauces. Now, the salt content of highly concentrated samples can be measured without dilution .
